Elder Sign - Fantasy Flight Games [News]

Arkham Horror with just cards, playable in 1-2 hours and designed by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson. Could be interesting. But then what would I do with my cupboard full of Arkham?? More here...

Lovecraft ambience soundscape 1920s music
I've mixed some 1920s music and drones and FX together to make some soundscapes for our games of Arkham Horor and I thought I'd share them with you.
Part 1 is a soundscape for a short film, set in HP Lovecraft's 1920's Cthulhu mythos. Consists of wind, rain, thunder, 1920s music, some monster FX, church bells, drones, etc. It can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVzJONU4jDs
Part 2 opens with a more nautical portside theme, some effed up music FX, drones, and then segueing into a nighttime scenario towards the end.

Hope you likey!

Individual Character Missions for extra flavour and purpose.

Ever read the text on the back of a character sheet and thought - 'nice, now what does that have to do with the actual game?' This is a feeble attempt to tie that back story into the actual gameplay, these missions should be handed out to the relevant characters before gameplay begins . . .
There is one for each official character published so far, more will follow for Holmes, Batman, G'Yar and co. Yes, there are only three locations for each mission, this is to make them actually achievable. And where the rewards are great, the sacrifices are too. Although, as always feedback is cool.
