Here are some example cards from the Dark Gloom pack, with the original cards on the left for comparison. If you find any of the Dark Gloom expansion distasteful, remember it is only an optional add-on and not required for play. If you do happen to choose to add Dark Gloom to your pledge you can simply swap in the alternative art card, or shuffle it into its encounter deck in addition to the original version as appropriate (with Night cards you will have to choose one or the other). There may be slight changes between the layouts or saturation of the cards below, but don't worry, that's only because I popped the images together in PhotoShop (you'll have to forgive blogspot's horrible image formatting too).
The trader image, for example, originally had a more revealing top:
The Fountain of Youth image suddenly became a lot more family-friendly when we swapped the female bather for a male bather:
And the Demonic Rite image was just all-round offensive, but at least having a naked man being sacrificed was just somehow more palatable than, well, a bunch of poor ickle babies instead:

So that gives you a taster of the types of changes in the Dark Gloom pack. Again, if you find any of the Dark Gloom distasteful, it's not an essential add-on for the game, simply an alternative artistic path. And conversely, if it proves popular, maybe there will be more Dark Gloom in the future...
